This Is Our Faith | A Catholic Catechism for Adults

This Is Our Faith: A Catholic Catechism for Adults by Michael Pennock offers a clear and accessible introduction to the teachings of the Catholic Church. Designed for adults at any stage of their faith journey, it is particularly useful for those preparing to enter the Church, newly initiated Catholics, and lifelong Catholics seeking a deeper understanding of their faith.

Following the four pillars of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, the book explores the Profession of Faith; the sacraments, liturgy, and Paschal Mystery; life in Christ and Catholic morality; and Christian prayer. Important teachings are presented in an approachable question-and-answer format, helping readers engage with Catholic doctrine without requiring previous theological study.

This revised and updated edition was developed in collaboration with experienced RCIA leaders and includes two new chapters, updated cultural and historical references, and language more closely aligned with the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Chapters begin with thought-provoking stories and include discussion questions and suggestions for further reading.

Suitable for individual study, OCIA/RCIA, parish adult faith formation, and group discussion, This Is Our Faith provides a structured foundation for understanding what Catholics believe and how that faith is lived.
