This beautifully detailed San Damiano Crucifix is available in two variants: a freestanding version with a built-in base ideal for prayer tables, altars, or shelves; and a wall-mounted version with a rear slot, perfect for displaying in any sacred space.
The San Damiano Cross was originally painted in the 12th century and now hangs in the Basilica of St Clare in Assisi. It is most famous for the moment when St Francis of Assisi prayed before it and heard the voice of Christ say, “Go and rebuild my Church.” Rich in iconographic detail, the cross depicts Christ in glory, surrounded by saints, angels, and symbols of resurrection and hope.
Crafted from wood and carefully designed to echo the features of the original, this crucifix is a timeless devotional piece for reflection, prayer, and spiritual inspiration. Order processing and delivery
We process all orders within 1–3 business days after payment is confirmed. Delivery is quick — usually 1–2 days within Gauteng, and 2–7 days for the rest of South Africa, depending on your location. Once we hand your parcel over to the courier, delivery timelines are outside of our control.
You’ll receive a confirmation email with your order number immediately. If it doesn’t appear in your inbox, please check your spam/junk folder or contact us for assistance.
Delivery costs
Delivery to a Pudo locker near you starts at R65, and delivery to your door starts at R85. Final costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order and your delivery address. Orders can also be collected by appointment in Rosebank/Sandton for a fee of R15.
