Description
Clever Cub Invites Someone New introduces young children to the story of Zacchaeus and the importance of welcoming others with the mercy and love shown by Jesus.
When Clever Cub is reluctant to invite Stinky the skunk to his birthday party, Mama Bear shares the story of Jesus and Zacchaeus. Through this gentle connection between an everyday childhood situation and Scripture, children learn what it means to look beyond first impressions, show kindness, and make others feel welcome.
Drawing on Luke 19:1–10, this engaging picture book includes colourful illustrations, discussion questions, and ideas for exploring the biblical story further. It offers parents and children a simple way to talk together about mercy, hospitality, and seeing others through God's eyes.
A thoughtful story for helping little ones learn to welcome and love others as Jesus does.
