Description

A Walk to Calvary is a reflective Lenten devotional that invites readers to journey prayerfully through Christ’s Passion using the Stations of the Cross. Written and published in South Africa, it offers a grounded and accessible approach to this central devotion of the Church.

The reflections guide the reader through the Stations from multiple spiritual perspectives, including walking with Jesus, with Mary, with Scripture, with the suffering, within family life, and through the lens of forgiveness and daily lived faith. This layered approach allows each Station to speak into different aspects of personal prayer and experience, making the devotion both intimate and practical.

The book also includes hymns, which enrich the prayerful rhythm of the Stations and support communal or individual reflection. Especially suited to Lent and Good Friday, A Walk to Calvary encourages a deeper contemplation of Christ’s sacrifice and enduring love.

A meaningful companion for Lenten prayer and reflection.
