As we near the end of April, we're shifting our focus to some of the most important people in our lives - moms!
May is a celebration of the vocation of motherhood - whether that's our biological moms, adoptive moms, mother-figures, grandmothers, religious sisters, aunts, big sisters, or even our mom-friends. Most importantly, we think of the moms who've lost their children or who were never able to have children but who embody everything it is to be a mom.
Beyond that, May is also the month of Mary. During this month we'll celebrate the feast day of Our Lady of Fatima on the 13th and the Visitation on the 31st.
Mary reminds us of the importance and power of a mom. Her "yes" changed the whole world - a humble reminder of the quiet strength, deep love, and unwavering faith that mothers bring into our lives.
So here's to the moms who nurture and lead us with prayer, presence and quiet sacrifice at the centre of everything they do - we love you all <3
